Trump is on live TV saying he wants to rig elections so Democrats can’t return to power. The most corrupt, anti-American administration in our history.
Trump: "They're gonna make DC a state and they're gonna make Puerto Rico a state. So now they pick up two states, four senators. They're gonna pick up electoral votes. It's gonna be a very, very bad situation. Now, if we do what I'm saying, they'll most likely never obtain power."

👀 WOW — “Speaker Johnson is stalling Grijalva until Van Epps gets there to cancel out her vote?”

TN-7 nominee @aftynbehn.bsky.social tells us Johnson plans for Van Epps to help him cover up the Epstein files. (His weak answer to NC5 is another clue🕵️ )
“The battlefield”? Buddy, this wasn’t a battle, you massacred an entire population of innocent civilians.

This exact thought had occurred to me too. Had the order of events been reversed, would the same questions + arguments have occurred *before* the Dem sweep on Tuesday?
I can't help noticing the Supreme Court conservatives expressing the first doubt of a Trump assertion in oral arguments the day after the election day where every Republican running lost by 20 points. But they would never be swayed by such worldly things in their consideration of The Law, right?
The coping is delicious. Mississippi lost their State Senate’s Republican supermajority lolol

This guy is so fuckin dumb.
Trump: "When I took over it was a mess. I have inflation way down. I have it down to a normal number right now. Lower than a normal number in my opinion, I think."

LA: “They took a US citizen father out and left a toddler in the backseat. Two heavily armed border patrol agents got in that car and drove the child and the vehicle away.”

What are we doing?

I’m not surprised that the young progressive Abdullah Hammoud has been reelected as Dearborn mayor!

He helps people and he’s popular and charming.

Glad he gets another term.

Mamdani was voted for by more people in this one election than voted for Kristi Noem in all of her elections combined (SD state rep two terms, US rep three terms, and two terms as SD governor)
Mamdani has now gotten more votes than 1/4 of the members of the United States Senate did when they got elected. The political power being channeled here is immense.

Here to second this observation. After our BLOW-OUT wins tonight it is NOT time to be conciliatory to Trump & the GOP. It’s still too early to lame-duck it, @peters.senate.gov
And the way to make your warnings about Trump’s bellicosity stick, @slotkin.senate.gov, is to hold a firm, unyielding line.
If you are a Democratic senator watching these results and the lesson you take is "I should cave and help Republicans reopen the government for nothing more than a promise written on toilet paper" then you shouldn't be in the Senate anymore

Democrats have flipped 2 seats in the Mississippi senate, and in so doing they've broken the GOP's supermajority in the chamber.

Just hoping for less of the billionaire cucking that’s been going on for the last decade

if Schumer and Jeffries had any balls [spoiler: they don't] they'd tell the GOP to come to the fucking table by tomorrow at 5pm with an ACA extension or they add one NEW non-negotiable demand a day until the GOP relents

read the fucking room. people are PISSED

Whatever polling you want to look at, there's extremely minimal evidence that anti-trans campaigns move the needle when Donald Trump is not on the ballot.
Earle-Sears ran what felt like 12 billion ads about how much she hated trans kids and I didn’t hear a single pundit say she should stick to real issues that affect real people.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrat Abigail Spanberger wins Virginia governor’s race.
He’s not up til ‘28 but can PA recall him? If enough people are as mad as they should be.. perhaps something to consider

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.
Goddamn it feels good to be heard. Great work everyone who voted, volunteered, protested, and engaged with our democratic system to show that we still have the numbers and we can overcome this stupid fucking mess.

The last month of the anti-Mamdani campaign was an absolutely shameful undertaking, an attempt to rip the city and Democratic coalition apart and I'm very happy to see it failed.
The fact that Marjorie Taylor Greene is seemingly more politically intuitive than both Schumer and Jeffries is really.. something
I fuckin love voting day, such a boss feeling getting to cast a ballot
