Nonviolent protest is powerful, in part because it can't easily be used by the propaganda arm of an authoritarian government. Of course authoritarians will lie about everything. They will say things are bad when things are not bad at all. But nonviolent protest still defies their lies.

The main bad guy in Drama of the Undead sees Susi as beneath him. He underestimates her true potential.

#LateNightWrite Jane would pick "Famous in a Small Town" by Miranda Lambert to describe her life. (She lives in Sugar Land, which is not exactly a small town.)

I chose "Addicted to Love" for a chapter in Andy's POV cuz it kinda fits his mindset when he realizes he loves Jane.

#LateNightWrite I have a scene in My Ex is a Vampire. It's the vampire masquerade ball. There's a cybergoth band named Sapphomet performing cover songs. When the vampires start causing chaos, the band plays on. This is the song that plays.

#WeeknightWriters #FirstDraftFall Susi is content with her life, but at the same time, she's prepping to go to college after taking a gap year, so she feels anxious about that.

She gets the job as the on-set nurse for money. Early in the story, she also gets a diagnosis. Susi is autistic.

#WeeknightWriters The protagonist of Drama of the Undead is Susi, Andy's older sister. She's a fairy who gains the powers to heal people, hence why she gets hired to be the on-set nurse.

Gabby is the deuteragonist. She plays the role of Meg Giry in the Phantom production.

#WeeknightWriters With Drama of the Undead, I need to figure out how the minor characters are gonna contribute to the story, plot-wise, and how they can interact with each other and the main character. It really feels like a literal theater production in my head.

#WeeknightWriters Whenever I make a character, I start with personality type stuff like MBTI, Enneagram, and astrology. It all helps me figure out what motivates them (Enneagram), how they process things (MBTI), and how they present themselves (astrology).

#WeeknightWriters Yeah. Susi's especially someone I have to keep in mind. Since she's an introvert, she can only handle so much socializing before she gets exhausted. On top of socializing, she has to solve a mystery which means actually getting to know people and it's very hard for her.
