#WeeknightWriters Getting my first royalty check is a big one! I treated myself to stickers and a new bullet journal. Getting into #bulletjournaling in general was a real highlight for this month. I even tried junk journaling!

#Bookvember The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer comes to mind, specifically Cinder and Cress. I loved Cinder's determination & Cress's idealistic personality. Also: I will die on the hill that Cinder is East Asian-coded (Vietnamese/Chinese) and will only accept fanart that shows her as such.

Yep! Susi loves bamboo plants and succulents, specifically anything that can be made into a bonsai tree. And yes, the Karate Kid movies are her faves.

#Bookvember Measuring Up by Lily LaMotte gave me a total nostalgia kick to the days when I watched cooking shows. The main character is a Taiwanese immigrant, but the way she learns how to cook reminded me of when I first learned how to cook.
