udo kier appeared in many of my favourite films but i most recently saw him in werner herzog's sensational MY SON, MY SON, WHAT HAVE YE DONE where he performs alongside a cast of eccentrics (willem dafoe, michael shannon, chloe sevigny, &c) and gets his glasses stolen from his pocket by an ostrich
