Personally, I think it's wrong that Starmer, with a Jewish family, family in Isreal and as a committed Zionist who receives donations from Labour Friends of Isreal, has any binding say, without extreme scrutiny, on the Isreal and Palestine issue. We need better.

Lot of poorer and middle income gonna die in Farage's Nazi state. Gas chamber is so 1940s, we're talking uninsured to death.
This is what Farage et al want for us. Invest and improve the NHS. It has many faults but they can be improved. Much better than throwing the baby out with the bath water.
My health insurance premiums will more than double in January. I pay a little less than $500/month for my current silver plan.

I just reapplied and my new premium will be $1062/month.

And don’t forget: I still have a co-pay for every visit and pay for prescriptions.

Be useful for HMRC to look at all his houses and the work with misc trades and labourers 'doing them up' to just make sure he isn't over paying the taxes due
So he’s been investing in property, doing them up and then selling them

Fair enough

And that’s what he used to buy his own house in 2016 - that’s what he considers to be his “pension”

His own house that he lives in🤷🏼‍♀️

UK budget freeze on income tax thresholds

Over the next 5 yrs, 780,000 more people, the poorest, will pay income tax for the first time.

Someone earning £50,000 will pay £9,512 in tax, an increase of £1,247 because thresholds are frozen.

Can't grow economy by hitting low/middle income earners.
The government’s budget is simply managing decline
The budget does little to improve living standards or facilitate sustained economic growth

Dismal framing. Every aspect of most asylum seekers’ lives is controlled & paid for by the Home Office. They can’t work, are told where to live & have no autonomy or dignity. So they aren’t *choosing* to use taxis & don’t need to be “banned” from doing so. The HO just needs to get its act in order.
Government to ban asylum seekers from using taxis
The ban is set to come in February and any exemptions will have to be signed off by the Home Office.

Does it strike anyone as weird that we have a ratings board that counts the number of times a movie says fuck or shows a boob and decides who is allowed to see it, and yet GenAI was dropped on the entire with no restrictions, no age verification, no checks, no regulation whatsoever?

There no migrant crisis. The crisis is Starmer's Labour won't invest in integration, language and job support so migrants can contribute to the economy. They're afraid of Reform UK Ltd racists crying about it.

Why no 'pragmatic' U-turn' on nationalising water, energy, rail rolling stock companies and freight; ending privatisation of the NHS and social care; taxing the super rich?

I've worked with children in care and asylum seekers. You don't always use taxis. You use them when getting them to places is problematic or even more expensive. Maybe it needs to be better managed, ok, but outright ban is performative BS from Mad Mahmood.
Every single day they find a new way to be crueler then the fucking Tories.
So how exactly are they meant to get to them? Many are placed in areas without accessible transport links. They can't afford to pay for journeys themselves because of how little support they get.
Yet again Labour choosing to pander to Reform than think of consequences.
