There isn’t any indication that immigration activity has changed in Minneapolis. In fact, this afternoon, federal immigration agents began staging at Holy Rosary Catholic Church located in East Phillips. This activity is disgraceful and creates an unsafe environment for our neighbors. 1/

If they wanted this to end they could leverage their capital to do so. They don’t actually want the ICE operations that are widely unsupported to stop. They’ll still let ICE stage in their lots, let Bovino terrorize customers, and let their employees get attacked by ICE on the job.

My son attended the vigil at Whittier Park with friends. I lit a candle in memory of Alex Pretti at 7 pm.
Nothing feels like enough. This still feels like the first stages of something worse.

This has been the conflict with the DFL for *ages*. It's the donor base v. the volunteer base. Volunteers are largely working class people who don't have funds to toss around, but we're the ones shouldering the workload in getting out the vote and ensuring party business happens smoothly.
Thing is, nobody votes harder than the demographic he attacked. And we are activated.
