If we're doing Food Takes, I'll say it: I don't like 90% of Traditional Thanksgiving Food. Give me ham, steak, or chicken over Turkey any day. The only things on our Thanksgiving table growing up I was excited to eat were the mashed potatoes, my Dad's Chex Mix, and my Mom's 7up (Jello) Salad.

As someone who once made a living discussing game balance (games journalist), I this is probably the right way to approach it. Very few rank and file gamers or even game critics discuss game balance with any objectivity or nuance, and definitely none of the loudest balance complainers.
One of the producers on Guilty Gear Strive said it was basically impossible to source player feedback on balance changes online because nobody had original opinions and would just parrot what the most popular content creators said and so they had to rely on data and I think about that every day.

Confession: I actually enjoy Dragon Response Missions in Guild Wars 2, especially in challege mode, but I WILL turn off dialogue in half of them. I don't need to hear that hypocrite Ryland preach at me and I refuse to believe Taimi would be such an asshole to Braham and my Norn Commander.
