Audio is still my first love, but I evolved, I moved forward in different ways. The irony of people working in tech yet stuck in old ways, and even older thoughts!

Moral of the post, stay true to yourself, no is a word for a reason, don't feel bad!

I hate doing threads, and yet... 3/3
Biggie once said he wouldn’t be a 50-year-old rapper still talking about being on the block slinging dope. Maybe not the same thing, but it hits just the same. Some people say, “But you still do audio!” Yeah my audio career started 30 years ago. It never stopped. Big difference. 2/
Got invited to speak somewhere recently from someone in my old industry, AV, I declined. Not because I’m better than anyone, or I'm above it, but because I’ve moved on. I’ve always lived by a simple mindset: look forward, never backward. What was then, is not now. Nor should it be. 1/
1119 days ago on September 30th I joined ChatGPT after my team had been testing it internally for quite some time. 44 minutes ago, I tried Atlas browser for the first time, it's only been 44 minutes, but so far I do prefer the DIA browser. Too early to call it a win, time will tell.

We went from being asked to think different to not thinking at all.
Thank you! This is what first came to mind!
We know it's AI generated, you don't have to say "appeared to be". We know this because Trump can't fly a jet, a jet can't carry that much shit, and no protestors had shit dumped on them.

It's okay to say the truth without careful couching of the words. You're a newspaper ffs.
So so true! While funny, I feel for you my friend! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
My eyes may not currently be working at the moment, was signing up for something and I kept reading "Unprofessional Plan" when in reality it was 2 plans, the Professional & Unlimited. And boy was I off, for the record was totally going to sign up for Unprofessional plan to see what it was about.
sorry to hear that man, yeah life was easier in 30s for sure...also the mental workload weighs on us physically in ways in never did before. Take care, lots of liquids, feet up, head back, rest!
Everyone’s a “builder” now. Spin up an app in a weekend, call it innovation. Then six months later: bugs, churn, vendor bills, and a LinkedIn post about “learning from failure.” AI makes stuff easy. Keeping it working is still very much a human problem.

Apparently when you break the system, the next step is ditching it?

Nothing says “we believe in humanity” like building a luxury fallout shelter while the rest of us argue over paper straws & toilet paper.

All jokes aside, they're in their own heads, I agree w/ your take.

Why would the cartels want to stop ICE and CBP activities that have been diverting resources away from drug interdiction?
Of all the things that didn’t happen
Think I’ll turn off DMs on Bluesky, don’t use it, most ppl that reach out to me, know how to, and don’t need another platform to check for messages, figured I’d do it now before i get used to chatting with ppl here.

I have my friends, I’m good. I’ll reach out if I feel change my mind.
See the confusion
Thank you @chenjerai.bsky.social for all your hardwork creating this and putting it together, can’t imagine what it was like for you knowing that it started as a personal project of discovery regarding your father! 🙏🏼❤️
Long commute today to an event, and I’m 3 episodes in on @chenjerai.bsky.social Empire City! I grew up in Brooklyn at a time when the cops were unchecked, no cell phone cameras so whatever you imagine now, amplify by 1000x - it was that bad! Hearing this history is utterly amazing & heartbreaking!
Can’t we just send him to mars already? Well tell him he was voted king of the planet and just send him there.
My first Apple purchase was a Mac Color Classic, I didn't get it brand new, I got it in '95 2yrs or so after it was discontinued. But man I worked the hell out of that computer!

I'd been using one for a couple of years already in the studio, and wanted one for myself.

Random memories!

New reddit alternative built on AT
(1/4) I'm soft launching nooki.me to get some early traction and feedback on what to improve. Excited to see how this platform grows!
Just got verified on Product Hunt, not entirely sure what that means.

Cool if it’s about real users, less cool if we’re heading down the social-media rabbit hole of badges and popularity metrics. PH used to feel like discovery, not a leaderboard.
