This guy is right. We’re nearing a point where declaring the executive branch as having been unoccupied, along with several Supreme Court seats, for a period of time, is the more constitutionally valid position than treating their acts as legitimate.

So, regarding redactions:
It used to be a very common thing that lawyers (or others) would badly redact text, in ways that the text was trivialy recoverable.
That still happens, but it's nowhere near as common.
That said, it absolutely will not surprise me if Bondi's team screws this up.
