Great sound — she's probably using nylon or nyglut strings and it's likely tuned in "mountain minor" (usually gDGCD if in G, but she might be tuned down lower than that with the same intervals)

I made one and it was amazing

Yeah, baking fish is much more foolproof. That sounds great.

yeah that seems weird. what are you tuning it to?

Some players use what are called railroad spikes on the fifth string, where you tuck the string under a little clip to raise the pitch without having to tune it higher.
mjanssen.bsky.social
If it's set up right, you should be OK sticking with open G or not much beyond that, like tuning the second string up to C. Tuning mine up to open A does freak me out though.

it does look a bit wet but after sitting for a while that could change
mjanssen.bsky.social
Oh that’s definitely true. But if that’s a concern I would say freeze what you’re not going to use in enough time to avoid the mold. Take it out a day ahead of time and it’ll thaw nicely and be ready to eat

Refrigeration dries out bread and makes it stale faster.

Breadboxes are a thing, but they’re not really essential. It’s just a place to put your bread if you don’t have a cabinet or whatever that works for you.

Bowl.

Yes.

Breadbox and freezer. Don't put bread in the fridge!

Does spaghetti belong in a bowl or on a plate?

Does soup go in the same size bowl as cereal?

Do yall put your bread on the counter, over the fridge, or IN the fridge??

I would love to have a fretless sometime. Have fun!
mjanssen.bsky.social
Haha that might be why the bridge seems high to you. A fretless was probably intended to be played clawhammer style, and clawhammer players usually use higer bridges. If you're going to fingerpick you might want to swap it out with a lower bridge.
mjanssen.bsky.social
Are you playing clawhammer on it?
