I've watched Godard's Breathless several times, and seeing Nouvelle Vague this evening and learning how he filmed the movie so improvisationally was a kick!

I recently read Edgar Allan Poe's "Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym" as a part of my Moby Dick reading project. What a mess that book is, and on top of it, probably the most overtly racist fiction I've ever read. Waste of time, I thought. 1/
