I was not disappointed! This is such an entertaining book that roasts all the Poe racism in the same way Percival Everett can be funny about serious topics, plus lots of twists and turns plotwise.

They made great color choices! I think I made a shell stitch shawl for myself in high school, and I know I made a SS blanket for my son when he was a baby. I still like that stitch. (And wish I had time to do more crafts.). I follow Janie Crow on IG and would love to make one of her patterns.
