If you are Pro-Kings, then organize a protest and get the proper permits to arrange your bootlicker march.
San Antonio's No Kings protest was disrupted by pro-Trump counterprotesters.

Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.

I did it because the government isn’t.

This is what I found.

Kristi Noem, while governor of South Dakota, supplemented her roughly $130,000 salary by secretly accepting $80,000 donated to a political nonprofit she was affiliated with, records show.

She never disclosed this income on federal ethics forms.

Kristi Noem Secretly Took a Cut of Political Donations
A dark money group paid $80,000 to Noem’s personal company when she was governor of South Dakota. She did not include this income on her federal disclosure forms, a likely violation of ethics requirem...

I knew wokism had gone too far when Family Matters went from being primarily about a Black, middle-class family to being primarily about a dorky, Black science kid who occasionally turns himself into a suave, Black man, vying for the affection of a police officer’s daughter.
I worry for people out here with allergies and food sensitivities far worse than mine.
Another barista at a different cafe gave me an ICED latte when I asked for HOT.

I don’t care if *you think* it’s too hot outside to be drinking hot coffee, but if you can’t listen to my order correctly on this detail, my trust in you wavers immensely on whether you are truly giving me DECAF.
This rings slightly of “What is Aleppo?”
“Who” is, objectively, the funniest possible response here
Q: Have you given any more thought to possibly suspending habeas corpus?

TRUMP: Suspending who?

Q: Habeas corpus

TRUMP: I don't know. I'd rather leave that to Kristi.

No firearms were on display among a couple dozen pro-Palestinian protesters at Milam Park, or outside Fox Tech High School, where a handful of students walked out mid-morning.

Me, having an autoimmune condition resulting in hives on my face when I drink caffeine:

“Can I please get a decaf, vanilla latte, hot?”

Barista: “Was that a decaf, lavender latte?”

Me: “Sure. Let’s go with that instead.”

Me, moments later: “I hope this ICED lavender latte is actually decaf.”
This is what you get when you care more about liability to an institution than actual ethics and morality.

I support students’ right to peacefully protest.
Media coverage of these pro-Palestinian/anti-genocide student led protests in San Antonio is negligent and dangerous. Local commentators and school districts are so out-of-touch with young people and their concerns with Israel’s ongoing genocidal campaign in Gaza.
I’m thinking along similar lines of: “Jan 6 was such an feckless and slow motion coup that few people could register it as such”

…then it was obfuscated by the media (legacy and social) to the point of it being a memory of gaslighting.
Is the deployment of troops to cities in Blue States an act of civil war in such slow motion that we aren’t registering it as an act of war?
Reminder: Have your friends take pictures of you when you’re experiencing abject and utter sadness, when you’re completely emotionally devastated.

Then post it to social media.

For balance.

I cannot justify this to you but every time I see a reel of people dancing to Katseye’s Gnarly, I must watch it.

Nothing but respect for MY president
AOC: We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was. A man who believed that the civil rights act that granted black Americans the right to vote was a mistake… His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated, and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans.
Probably won’t be able to board a plane if “Little Marco” reads this.
I give myself too much credit. I bet I’m a centrist in countries that have a real Left wing political tradition.
Tough time to be a Leftist in America right now, amirite?

David Letterman is right: you can't appease a tyrant.
To hear my White friends from the upper class suburbs of Austin or Dallas or Houston talk about being a “poor college kid” always rang as untrue to me.
I was a Mexican-American kid who didn’t find “eating ramen every day” as a college student very different from growing up poor and “eating ramen every day” in a home where ramen was a primary staple in the pantry.
