My husband isn't on social media so missed the whole groundhog thing until recently, ever since he's been exclaiming "don't hand ME a fucking groundhog!" at random.

I bought 6 20oz glass bottles for, I think, $30.
They're closed with an ingenious system that uses a small cap you screw on and off. I guess if I worried they'd break I could put them in a clean sock.
I've yet to have a bottle need they don't meet.

As someone who votes in CA elections, her statements are nonsensical. What she claims isn't even possible. And if it were possible, they'd have provided all this evidence in court. That they haven't kind of gives the game away.

Until this year my polling place was my neighbor's garage. I'm going to miss interacting with a group of profoundly bored HS students meeting their public service requirement while surrounded by all the junk someone else keeps meaning to throw away.

Sovereign Citizens' beliefs are incoherent, but they're pretty consistent about them. Acceptable ink colors and fringe choices don't change depending on who they're taking to.

Bondi is both incoherent and inconsistent.

Very early in the lockdown my company had a landmark anniversary and door dashed celebratory cupcakes to every employee. I'm sure it cost a fortune, but man is it nice to have a surprise cupcakes show up at your door.

It's true. No one thinks about the toll on the family that spent decades and millions of dollars ensuring the pedophile didn't face criminal charges and his victims never got justice.

We should think about them. Like we should think about whether ensuring he could continue makes them accessories.

One of the few things you miss working from home is the esprit de corps when things like this happen. Someone yelling "why did you reply all to say stop replying all, Dave? YOU'RE THE PROBLEM, DAVE!!!" really only works in person.

"today is the 48th straight day with temps over 95. I had no idea there were so many mosquito borne illnesses. I think I have Dengue Fever. Or maybe it's just West Nile. I can't afford more time off work, my kid has 9 cavities and our home insurance just went up again..."
