Much of what appears in the screenshotted extract there (some individuals are OK but cultures can be bad, they nurse gruesome practices, they 'ghettoise' etc) would once have been said by Protestant Britons about Jews.

If you range back to the HBC, you can say that Canada basically is (a nation derived from) a crown corporation. We should treasure them.

Canada nation built (and built and built and built) until the 1970s, then began the great dismantling. I'd pin it to Mulroney era when rails were ripped out across country & Chretien/Harris pulling out of housing funding/backstopping. Canada Post stuff is just another dismantling moment.
