It's interesting to see all the people who last week were VERY certain that Minnesota would be better benching McCarthy not talking as much right now. It's almost like the Vikings have bigger, persistent issues than who's under center. JJ has been bad this year but it's not all on him.

"If only my former boss let me hang out with players I could poach while making it harder for them to hire my replacement, I'd be right there by your side."
Lane Kiffin announces he's going to LSU, says the Ole Miss team wanted him to coach in the playoff but it was denied.

Also, I still don't get the Jedd Fisch hype as a big time HC. Washington's offense has looked mediocre-to-bad against any defense with a pulse and their defense took a step back despite what the stats may say. Of the two 2023 title participants, UW feels worse off two years later.

Vandy is going to be screwed out of a playoff spot and that's going to suck. They are a lot of fun to watch and outside of spotting Texas a bunch of points early on have taken care of business all year.
November 30, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Yeah, spiritually that's a fantastic catch by Oregon.
November 29, 2025 at 11:22 PM
LSU somehow putting forth a more coherent offensive performance at OU than against WKU last weekend is sorta wild.
November 29, 2025 at 10:52 PM
Watching OU play LSU reminds me that when you play a team matters a ton. I absolutely believe UM can beat the Sooners now because this isn't close to the offense UM saw.

ESPN push notifications going crazy after this game with a lot of "did Michigan try to start something" leading to just a list of final scores was extra annoying.
November 29, 2025 at 9:03 PM
So yeah, not an inspiring drive there. Anyway, still a fine first year but with obvious holes to fill. I still don't think this OSU team is elite but they're good enough to beat this UM team.
November 29, 2025 at 8:09 PM
Michigan isn't winning this game but putting forth a good effort on this drive would be a nice sign of resiliency. I'm not talking about moral victory or anything but they've still got games to play and looking like you give a shit matters.
November 29, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Yeah, I don't think Bo Jackson (NTBJ) is a great back but he's absolutely good for what this OSU team wants to do in this game.
November 29, 2025 at 7:53 PM
That's a crazy non-catch there by McCulley.
November 29, 2025 at 7:36 PM
Yeah, Marshall doesn't look particularly healthy out there right now.
November 29, 2025 at 7:35 PM
The perfect distillation of this game is Carnell Tate and Jeremiah Smith, two of OUS's best players who were listed as questionable into the game, have both scored big TDs while UM's top players are all hurt.
November 29, 2025 at 7:31 PM
For the record, if OSU wins this game they are going to make the biggest show of planting flags and all that so just be ready for it.
November 29, 2025 at 7:15 PM
Like, I'm an eternal optimist but this feels like the game that OSU wins. Just not enough bodies on UM's side and the schematic differences aren't enough to compensate. It happens and it sucks to experience but you don't beat a team this good forever.

Yeah the guy is absolutely giving everything he’s got, it’s going as good as you could possibly expect.

But we’re just missing these shots at explosives that are there when Marshall or Haynes are available. The OL obviously providing room to get them.
Kuzdzel has been a solid RB3 for Michigan because he has pretty good vision and the OL is blocking in a way for plays to develop longer. What makes him clearly a walk on is that every time he gets hit it looks like he gets absolutely destroyed

Zvada redemption game absolutely in effect.

Also, them getting to 13-10 with 2 safeties is going to be hilarious.
November 29, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Yeah, that's the play where you see the biggest difference in talent. That's a walk-on RB trying to get to the corner against NFL guys.
November 29, 2025 at 6:23 PM
What's crazy is even with UM's third RB they are finding holes and making plays, but there have been a couple runs in this game where Haynes or Marshall house them.
November 29, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Oh look, a controversial call that goes in OSU's favor. Good thing everyone got to complain about Barham and have lost all energy to note a potentially other serious missed call.
Anyway, never said this would be easy.
November 29, 2025 at 6:16 PM
Yeah, that's a blindly obvious hold. Sucks to not have Bredeson and Marshall at full health.
November 29, 2025 at 5:57 PM
A HUGE hold there by the defense, facilitated by OSU getting the yips on offense.
November 29, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Good thing that moment of "maybe the B1G refs are in UM's pocket?" nonsense disappeared with that call on the field when he's clearly short.
November 29, 2025 at 5:51 PM
It is fun seeing the subset of "objective" sports journalists just come out full bore for OSU to win this game. It's not a total surprise by any means, just interesting.
