as mayor i hope he makes ferrets legal again

also that he is informed about the goodness of pigeons so when asked his opinion he doesn't only say "i don't believe it's good luck when they shit on you". which is true but still. pigeons are one of our city's treasures

For years, but especially for the past year, Democrats have been in thrall to the idea that they need to chase an imagined median voter, and adopt that voter’s positions. Mamdani’s victory shows another way: hold principles, and persuade people to share them.

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.
