My God. A recent article from a credible Israeli source (published hours ago) says that U.S. officials have “urged Lebanon to return” an “unexploded warhead” used in an Israeli strike on Beirut. The concern is that if Lebanon doesn’t return it, the bomb could “fall into Russian or Chinese hands.”

They’re trying to turn criticism of Zionism into a hate crime and they’ve had some success institutionally, but it is absolutely not working on the public. In fact, it’s backfiring.

The “friend” detail appears to come from one anonymous source. Does anyone know if the NYT or any other outlet has actually named the “friend” that the suspect supposedly lost? I can’t find a name, obituary, asylum case, etc. Seems important to confirm before making it a headline.

Thanksgiving is a holiday I honestly despise both for what it represents and because it isn’t exactly joyful when your family is fractured. But I still think practicing gratitude is good for the soul. I hope you all have at least one person in your life who makes you feel grounded and cared for.
