To be clear this is good, it’s really nice to sink into and the combat is outstanding - like some of the best out there. It’s also gorgeous.

It’s also A Video Game in that you meet a monk who’s like “I gotta show you a shrine to pray at” and then you do and it lets you upgrade sword killing

A reminder that Gravity Circuit is still free this week on Epic. One of my favourite platformers of the past few years, and a huge, highly refined tribute to the Mega Man Zero series.

Great music, great bosses, lots of extra play-modes and optional systems giving it great replay value too.

I am aware this is a deeply unimportant complaint all things considered but as someone with limited time to play games, it’s a bummer to sit down and check out the game I just bought and be asked to come back in an hour. Almost guarantees I won’t get to check it out until maybe the end of the week
