I didn't take pics but the feeling of being in a group of people with no visible beginning or end was so thrilling. The opposite of online anomie, and a living counterpoint to the wary, isolated, compartmentalized world the shitheads want to make. It's simple and obvious I guess but it means a lot.

Something maybe worth noting is that all the frog costumes and signs and good-natured memeing came about because a wide spectrum of Americans saw someone in direct, brave confrontation with ICE—getting pepperballed and standing their ground—and thought “that’s awesome. That person is a hero”

Dat Boi (Person in the famous PDX inflatable frog suit hypes up passing cars and protestors lining both sides of Capital Ave).

America already has a King (Lady with slicked back hair in an Elvis jumpsuit leads a person with an orange jail jumpsuit and handcuffs wearing an oversized mask of Trump's head made from a blown-up photo. Elvis is pointing at the camera and Trump's hands are balled in li'l' fists. I got a good chuckle out of these two)

This page is a montage - Usagi looking for someone over the course of several months - and look how brilliantly Stan ends it. Wow.
