This is the top of Kinuseo Falls ... and hopefully I "broke the rules" correctly and your eyes lead out of the frame to the right ... because that's where the water is going. 🙂

I feel like I want more info about the timeline. This happened in July, so how long after the crash was it until IH was notified? Was the health of any patients negatively impacted by the delay?

I don’t know if there are more details via the link in the piece, because I don’t use Facebook.

It's not the best time of year for it, but I couldn't resist pointing my camera toward the most visible part of the Milky Way last night.

I need a ballhead that points straight up, too. For this shot, I used a 10-second timer and laid the camera down on a safety vest I keep in my car.

Thiis one may be better than the last one, aurora-wise, but it was the first one I took and I forgot about the dock. Shortly after this shot, I remembered I had a head lamp. 🤣

I've been spoiled by photographing the aurora on both May 10 and October 10, 2024, but it was still great to see another display tonight.

It didn't last long, and this is probably the best of the dozen or so I shot.

I've been eyeballing this shot for a few days, trying to figure out the best time for light.

It's a shame this riverside municipal campground in #Quesnel isn't open in October, when it's arguably the prettiest time of year.
