'This isn't an opinion. This is counting.'
- A 100,000 drop in net migration costs us £7bn
- Scrapping the two-child benefit cap costs us £3bn

What gets more attention?

James O’Brien says 'we have become a ludicrous country'.

Rachel Reeves says this Labour Governments decisions are "necessary."

Why is it always necessary to hit the living standards of the 99%?

When are we going to make the necessary decisions about extreme wealth?

The President of the United States of America - who is a stunning black hole of sociopathy and malignant narcissism - is emotionally incapable of wishing ALL the people of the United States a Happy Thanksgiving.

Incapable.

Oh and he threatened the lives of Dem legislators this week.

Serious howls of outrage in the media this morning at what is a relatively modest Budget from Labour that does nothing more than fiddle around the margins.

It does highlight the missed opportunity. If you’re going to get this reaction anyway, why not at least get it for attempting a big swing?

Why would they, they cheerlead everything we despise and despise everything we love. #fuckthetimes #fuckreform
Quick analysis of The Times today:
Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform.
Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.

I have no clue as to what « might » radicalise an Afghan immigrant who had served for 10 years with US special forces…. Other than maybe because the US has turned on him and thousands of others and he no longer feels safe in his adopted country. Just a guess #fucktrump #fuckice

He really is a racist piece of shit
December 2014 and Nigel Farage defends dropped UKIP candidate Kerry Smith. He defends the racist slur "chinky", the homophobic slur "poofter" and suggests it is what people who live in council houses say (which is class based bigotry). Even Nick Ferrari is less than impressed.

On Truss & Kwarteng in ‘22. Allister Heath, Telegraph: “the best budget I have ever heard a British chancellor deliver". Alex Brummer, Mail: “a genuine Tory package elbowing to one side the Treasury's fiscal conservatism".
These men will now be paid actual money for their analysis of today’s budget.

Unlike in Gaza, there is no organized armed resistance to defend Palestinians in the West Bank, no declared war-zone, no pretext to hide behind. What Israel is doing exposes its cruelty in its rawest form.

GOOD. It's such a relief to hear someone simply say things like that - the kind of things a decent person would say, but which have somehow become shocking to hear spoken by a politiican, because of the climate of unrelenting bigotry the Tories, Reform and Labour have plunged us into
Interviewer: “What do you say to trans kids who are starting their transition?”

Zohran Mamdani: "We're gonna make this a city that doesn't just protect trans kids, but also celebrates and cherishes them."

Er. Yes. You see, you take money from people who have money, and use it to pay for things for everyone and help people who have too little money. That's... the whole point?

I asked the Met if Leave.EU ever submitted the forms needed when planning a march, had any meetings with them about a large march or been advised to cancel re safety fears.
No, no and no.
So the march announced eight months previously was never intended. Farage just lied about it for publicity.

There is a reason why Witkoff did not want any officials with the State Dept or anyone else present during his many meetings w/Putin - he didn’t want witnesses to his treasonous behavior. Highly unusual, but makes perfect sense when you consider that he only cared about Russia.
