I’m just going to note this is probably neither the worst thing we’ve seen from a non-proliferation point of view nor from a Finnish mining point of view 😁
Considering the Finnish mining legislation lags behind Congo's and no Finnish government seems to be willing to rein in the mining giants, here's an idea.

Let's just allow the Canadian mining companies develop "mining" nukes in Finland. Then Canada too would have them.
@jmkorhonen.fi India developed civilian nukes for mining.

Holy moly, do people still think the U.S. is an ally of Europe? It is now an officially stated foreign policy goal to undermine the EU and centrist European governments that don't ideologically align with MAGA.
Europeans are waking up this morning to find the new US National Security Strategy (quietly) released. And what it has to say on Europe could not be clearer. On the „stark prospect of civilizations erasure“ for example. 👇

Another outcome for which the Kremlin worked, lest we forget. Described in "Road to Unfreedom."
Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

This may be Trump's perfect social media post. A true work of art. He confirms:

✅He personally directs criminal investigations.
✅He is targeting opponents.
✅Epstein "records" exist and he knows the contents.

Bonus points for connecting it to investigation of his fondness for Putin.👀

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said discussing Tomahawk missiles forced Putin back to dialogue with the US. Russia lost strategic initiative and relies only on terror against Ukraine's energy system, he stated, calling for further decisive steps to end the war.

Putin's Budapest visit has clear aims: expose EU weakness by letting an indicted war criminal travel; let Hungary flout the ICC's Rome Statute; boost Orbán before elections; pressure Trump on Tomahawks; fracture NATO and EU unity. So we should not let it happen.

In today’s Vatnik Soup, I’ll explain the Alaska Fiasco and how it marks the peak of Trump’s two-year betrayal of Ukraine. What was sold as “peace talks” turned into a spectacle of weakness, humiliation, empty promises, and photo-ops that handed Putin exactly what he wanted.

Lavrov’s response 3 times is to insist that Russia has “never, ever targeted civilian sites.” So the apartment buildings and hospitals we see in flames every day and bodies of civilians is all made up apparently. This is who they are - liars and barbarians.

Explain to me again why we in Europe should be less safe in traffic so that some Euro carmakers can sell safer cars in the USA?

UvdL is apparently willing to sell Europe down the river - who will stand up for us EU citizens?
"We deserve answers from our leaders about why placating Trump is worth the deaths of more pedestrians on European roads, worth increasing global warming, worth stripping away protections for Europeans using the internet. What is the end game here?"
Washington gains veto power over EU legislation
Von der Leyen's trade war surrender deal promises to lower Europe's vehicle safety and pollution standards - just one of several legislative changes pledged to Trump.
