A good age but I’m still sad. I grew up watching him. Among his many talents he was the queen impressionist with the best jokes and the best legs. Thank you Stanley.

It’s reflective of how ignorant much of UK society is on how languages work, especially how the medium of instruction is not the same as which languages children learn to speak/take as a subject. I’m tired of explaining that Welsh medium schools teach English as a mandatory subject.
This is a really appalling editorial error on BBC Question Time

"Apparently one in three children don't speak English as a first language, why does this matter?"

Chair says "have English as a second language"

Innocent people end up in our criminal courts.

Completely, terrifyingly innocent.

And all that stands between them and losing everything is a fair trial.

Politicians would do well to remember this when they tell us that justice is all about processing “criminals” swiftly.

In the last 6 months, the Welsh Labour Gov has sent 2 letters to their UK Labour colleagues asking them to change local housing allowance back to the 50th percentile (Wales has the fastest growing rents in the UK).

An FoI shows that UK Gov haven't bothered to reply to either.

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

Not sure whether you can call them "unintended consequences" when they are so obvious.
Changes to settlement routes add whole new layers of bureaucracy, which means more people waiting, especially when some people are waiting years on an initial claim as it is.
