I was taught that politics is disagreeing with how to address a problem, not disagreeing on whether the people suffering from the problem should be villainized.

We can negotiate on a solution to a problem. There is no middle ground on whether we should be villainizing the victims of a problem.

Minneapolis Police Chief O'Hara: "The video speaks for itself. We have identified this person - 37-year-old, white male, resident of the city. The only interaction that we are aware of with law enforcement has been for traffic tickets and we believe he is a lawfully gun owner with a permit to carry"

Turn off autoplay. Protect your mental health.
There is a video from across the street of half a dozen or so masked federal agents wrestling a man to the ground, punching him. Then there is a shot, then several others, until he is lying completely still.
You may want to be cautious if you don't want to see the video.
Star Tribune is reporting this as well now, multiple shots in the chest.

Using a photo of a disabled, autistic woman violently dragged from her car on the way to a doctor's appointment with this headline certainly is a choice.
This isn't satire. This is a real headline published in the UK.

For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us …

For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States.
The thing that really makes Minneapolis different, other than the fact that they straight up murdered someone, is that they've dropped all pretense that this is just about immigration. The state has declared war on its own people, or at least those people who live in cities.

Something I learned about corporate planning:

Boss: "We need this done in 3 months."
PM: "Okay, here is a 2 month timeline to accomplish this."
Boss: "Really I would like that to be a 3 month timeline."
PM: "Why didn't you say you wanted it done in 4 months then?"
