What will Democrats gain by ending the shutdown?

The Republican majority is going to do what they want. Democrats need to speak out louder and more frequently about the Rs refusal to use reserve funds for SNAP, as previously done. It might be better strategy to let the shit hit the fan and MAGAs.

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.

Not only is it the right thing to do, insuring people are fed and cared for benefits us all.

Money moves through the economy, crime is lessened, children (our future) learn better, and people can focus on other needs on Maslow's hierarchy.

Having hungry citizens is detrimental to the country.
