People are still suffering due to the last time Labour interfered with the
judiciary by introducing Imprisonment for Public Protection (IPP) sentences.
Although overturned in 2012 there are still more than 2000 prisoners being held many of whom have served much longer than the crime warranted.
🚨The governments controversial plan to scrap jury trials for crimes with sentences of less than 3 years is a huge mistake, will make little or no difference to the backlog and will undermine and restrict one of the fundamental cornerstones of our democracy

WE MUST STOP IT

MP’s must resist this attempt to undermine & restrict a fundamental cornerstone of our democracy

“Well the song “Gas ‘Em All” is only a bit of lighthearted bants innit?” says a racist, grifting gobshite.
'I would never ever do it in a hurtful or insulting way'

Farage responds to allegations of racist behaviour from when he was a teenager at school.

What?

I despair of the English cricket team.
They snatched defeat from the jaws of success with a display of batting which was schoolboy level in its approach.
As my coach used to say ‘you can’t score runs in the dressing room’.

“He’s only taking bribes for Nigel”
With apologies to XTC!
Gill’s conviction for taking Kremlin money is yet more evidence of Russian influence in our politics, as the Russia report itself found. So when will Ministers finally investigate this wider interference? Why are we forced to pursue it in court? @carolecadwalla.bsky.social

First they attacked the disabled, then they went after immigrants and now they want to remove the right to choose trial by jury.
Don’t worry about Reform winning the next election.
They are already here.

Sadly Reform think they could run the country.
Even sadder there’s people who support them.
Just shows if they’re not shouting at boats or painting roundabouts they are totally fucking clueless.

Will they be pulling gold teeth like the Nazis???
This is a new low from a govt plumbing the depths of performative cruelty in hopes that the public won’t notice they have no answers to the real issues facing this country

A sensible, humane govt would focus on safe routes to prevent people making dangerous small boat crossings

I never thought the Labour Party could become any more morally repugnant than they were under the lying Shitweasel Blair.
How wrong I was…….

@jaro4man.bsky.social even better than salted caramel 🤣🤣🤣🤣
There is no earthly reason why this abomination should have ever been conceived, let alone developed and marketed. And even less rational justification for it being so unfathomably delicious or utterly addictive.

It is crack in a bottle and must be regulated, before the whole country is lost to it.

Currently watching Foyle’s War.
Laurence Fox is playing a Nazi.
Even when he’s playing himself he’s shit.
In fact he once failed an audition to play himself.
