To me a Yankee is a member of a baseball team I hate for reasons I don't even remember, but I was still celebrating their playoff loss a few days ago despite not really following Baseball anymore because my hatred is stronger than both my memory and my interest in sports.

So maybe I'm an outlier :D

yeah man, trans reporters, whom the ny times derogatorily calls "trans activists" so that normies won't listen to them, have been reporting on ADF activity in the UK since 2018.

We already know they are super deep into this shit, ie Helen Joyce laundering Jennifer Biilek's vile shit in her book. In the past, I would have guessed that the more "mainstream" tervs like Joyce/Rowling/etc being too open about this would finally get the British media to turn on them-

Random thought, but I expect UK transphobes will be even more open with their antisemitic conspiracies now that Zack Polanski (who is Jewish and trans supportive) is leader of the Greens and getting attention. I give JKR a year at most before she's openly tweeting about "the Jewish connection"/etc.

AI is the inevitable future but also companies have to keep coming up with new and absurd ways of forcing it on you including simply refusing to let you opt out.

I expect soon the default model will be to charge people to turn it off. It's the only way they'll actually be able to make money from it

I saw someone make a point that maliciously or recklessly spreading HIV is a crime, but even that is a *separate crime* from rape/sexual assault. So even if you do go to jail for lying about having HIV and deliberately infecting someone with a life threatening disease, it still doesn't count as rape

Not exaggerating btw. If a trans woman lying about being trans is rape, and *by definition* deception is the only way a straight man would ever have sex with her, than all consensual sex between het men and trans women is by definition rape.

A paragraph from a BBC article, which says the following: "The judge said Watkin posed a high risk of offending in the same way in the future and, while her gender dysphoria was a factor in her actions, at the 'heart' of it was Watkin's 'frustration at wanting sexual experiences with heterosexual males', which 'by definition' she needed to 'deceive to achieve.'"

Note that "frustration at wanting sexual experiences with heterosexual males", "by definition", and "deceive to achieve" are in quotation marks, indicating that they are the judge's exact words, not the BBC summarizing or paraphrasing them.

And assuming the BBC's quotes from the judge are accurate, he believes a trans woman who has sex with a straight man is by definition a rapist, as he does not believe it possible for straight men to be attracted to trans women without being deceived (which is rape now, but only for trans people).

If she'd been married and lied about being single or if she'd been a convicted abuser and lied about that she would not be going to jail.

People lie all the time before sex, during sex and after sex.

If you're trans, that's a crime.

Even sex resulting in pregnancy after one partner lied about their fertility, or resulting in STD transmission after one lied about having an STD*, is not considered to legally invalidate consent, despite far more demonstrable harm than lying about body parts for sex acts not involving those parts!
