My favorite friendly chameleon sold today. They are so much larger now! They were very unhappy about me trying to place them into a box. My poor arms are all scratched up now. Those little pinchy feet end in claws that mean business when they seriously want to hang on. I’ll miss you! 😭

Watching the latest Nosferatu film as the pre dinner entertainment. Doesn’t everyone watch horror over their holiday? I amazingly haven’t seen this yet, so friends insisted I get with the times. 😂

I had planned to get some weaving done, but apparently I need to cuddle a lap of demanding Amethyst first. Guess I’ll read some more manga. I’m not sure if I’m being a “warm rock” or if I’m protecting from the neighbor who is rehearsing their oboe. Or a bit of both I suppose.

I just read vol 1 of 10 Dance… I have no idea how they are going to straight wash this for the live action movie. One character is constantly dropping explicit innuendos. If they cut those, it’s going to completely ruin his personality. Especially because he is so dry and tight laced otherwise.

Amethyst is solid asleep and I swear that stick is the only thing holding them up. I’m wondering if it’s going to remain strong enough to hold them once they reach full adult size. Or will I need to either get a larger stick or anchor this one better. 😂😅

Starting to wonder if my upstairs neighbor is suddenly single. He has started playing the guitar every night now for at least the past week. Also it’s otherwise shockingly quiet otherwise, where there was much laughter before. 🫥

It’s been far FAR too long since I’ve cooked proper, and thus I have discovered my spice cabinet is woefully inadequate. Spent a chunk of my morning picking out new recipes and staring at the kitchen in dismay.
