I keep thinking about the number of people that have to be involved to kidnap a small child, transport him to one facility or another, then an airport, then a plane, then another facility. Did no one on that chain stop and say hey what the fuck?
If only they had had time for the "don't kidnap 5-year-olds and send them to detention centers 1000 miles away from their families" training module
Here’s the report from KARE. The boy is five-year-old Liam Ramos.

I guess I do think if you participated in the arrest of a five-year-old you are probably just fundamentally incompatible with society. That you are not a safe person for humanity to be around, generally

“Dadda. You’re the funniest dadda in the whole world.”

I know this era will pass. But it’s nice to have an easy audience of a newly turned 4 year old (with a great sense of humor).

Really enjoyed the pilot episode of Starfleet Academy. Can’t wait to see where it goes!

Bummed it was buried on my screen and I literally had to use the search function to find it. #starfleet

German Jews were citizens of Germany at the start of 1933. By the end of 1933, the Nazis had
removed citizenship from naturalized citizen Jews.

In 1935, all German Jews were fully stripped of their German citizenship.

Citizenship under dictatorships is contingent for targeted minorities.

Explaining to preschoolers why someone killed MLK Jr crushes my souls a little.

“Some people are mean to me but I don’t kill them.”

“He wanted people not to be mean? Why do people not like that?”

If you live in the Cities, an easy way to help immigrant families in hiding is: laundry! Laundromats are ICE magnets, so people without washers need help.

The People’s Laundry will drop off laundry to your door to wash and dry and pick up a few days later:

Just sent some hard emails. Had a project not coalesce and had to make it official that it wasn't moving forward.

There is a freedom in letting it go and giving room for new opportunities. But also a sense of failure and sadness because it was so cool. Anyways. Thanks for my vague post.

Stop starting from the assumption that protesters are the root cause of violence during political conflict. They are not. The violence is coming from THE FEDS. You are responsible for protecting your residents from THEM.
