Republicans deserve only suffering.

Make their misery your second job.

Petty, you might say.

Futile, you might mutter.

Risky, you might whisper.

But I have built-in noise cancellation and I can’t hear you.
BARTIROMO: What are you expecting the president's economic message to be?

SEN. McCORMICK: I think the message is that we inherited a trainwreck from the Biden administration and we made a lot of progress

Eric Red wasn’t playing around back in the day.
Just watched THE HITCHER, which I haven’t seen since the days of the video rental shop in the 80s.
It’s a great film. The tension starts in the first few minutes & just keeps on escalating. And Rutger Hauer is wonderfully demented.
Nice exploding helicopter too: @chopperfireball.bsky.social!

I mean the guy on the other side of terrible bass player Gene. The little guy. Not Peter. I must know.
The wee bespectacled man with no shoulders must be James Woods, right?
I wonder if Gloria Gaynor thought this was worth surviving for

Before I go on Etsy, are there any laid-off game artists in my follower/repost pool who would be available for a custom DnD party art commission? Four characters, a few special requests, preferably by Christmas? DM me! I have money!

When you’re looking to start understanding a complex entity, event or system, you can start anywhere. You’ll build your own apperceptive mass according to your learned categories.
While the sadism of Republicans is eliciting our emotional attention, the corruption is the ongoing engine of evil.

Who was that other little guy at the thoroughly embarrassing art trophy handout at the White House? Not Sly or Crawford or the imbeciles from KISS or the adult man in a cowboy costume or Gloria. This is haunting me more than it should.

Creative people have two vulnerabilities that are used in combo against them.
First, like almost everyone, they’re skint.
Second, they have interests other than power and money. (As any healthy person does!)
Media company owners don’t HIDE the deets of IP law. But they definitely won’t teach you.
Miles Morales co-creator Sara Pichelli says she does not get any royalties from the ‘Spider-Verse’ films, Insomniac games, or merch

"I don’t get anything … that's the saddest part of my life"

Republicans cannot be rehabilitated, saved or redeemed.
HOPE WALZ: “What world are we f*cking living in? I draw the line at Gus. You people are f*cking disgraceful.”

She says MAGA loyalists are now driving by their home and yelling “R*tard!” at her family and her special needs brother after Trump called GovTimWalz the R word.

Watching Masters of the Air with my dad (who worked on rockets for the Air Force, and later, in aerospace) and he was impressed by my summary of the P-51, the workings of the bombsights, and how to build a radio. Always supported my artistic goals 100%. We pause a lot for this great service stories.

Isn’t that every job?
My teen, who had dreamt of being an astrophysicist, just told me he wants to go to law school because, “Science isn’t going to be a priority in the US in the future…I don’t want a job where I’ll be constantly worried my funding will be taken away.”

Gutting. How many future scientists have we lost?

Rewatch complete of Simon
West’s insane action flick that cemented Nic Cage as an action star. Crazy fun cast with Malkovich and Rhames committing to the villainous bit perfectly. Huge set pieces, great violent action and Cage’s accent make this one a 90s action classic!

Or actually call you. (Yes this happened.)
I really don't think it's a good thing that you can casually browse a website you've never been on before for 30 seconds and suddenly they can email you like HEY ARE YOU SURE YOU DIDN'T WANT TO BUY SOMETHING. I'm bravely saying that should not be able to happen.

The violent degenerates in ICE must be punished. After an investigation, of course. No matter how long this process takes.
You can hear Jose scream in excruciating pain as an ICE vehicle runs over his foot while he's being detained.

His family says Jose is a good man, with no criminal record, who works in roofing.

He needs to be released from detention to receive appropriate medical care.

If you’re lucky, you will become mature, yet inevitably slower than you are now, but still mentally active, and capable of inference, logic, argument, speech and badinage.
I hope you find folks willing and even happy to take an extra minute or two, or as long as you need.
Joe once took an extra minute to respond to a complex, important question.
His answer was careful and thoughtful.
But that extra minute was just intolerable for some.
Many Americans deformed their already ugly faces in rage, and expressed their cruel, glib impatience on their phones and computers.
Assigned's mentions for this post are flooded with people who want to jeer at Biden so may I just say: When a Democratic former president makes a point of standing up for trans rights in a situation where he is absolutely not required to do so, for God's sake, just take the W.
