tbh I didn't mind when they got wiped too much especially after learning I was playing on a juiced version of the game at 144hz with the punch and dash doing double damage LOL I'm just happy I still have a permanent time pretty close to the one I did before launch

Added a slight addendum to the bottom of my review after learning about a small balance patch that untethers the game's internal logic from the framerate - it doesn't change my my final verdict in the slightest, but I think it warrants being said for clarity

For years I yearned for a title to come along and elicit even fractionally similar emotions to the ones I feel while playing Alien Soldier. I no longer have to dream, as Disaster Arms - Impact Project B.A.H.N. understood the assignment and passed with flying colors.
