a lot of newsrooms won't do stories about letters or have a really high bar. i'm sure a lot of nonprofit folk have noticed the trend. i think it's a bit sad b/c... idk, that's how i imagine civilized people communicate & people shouting gibberish on TV don't get the same treatment. but there it is.

A market customer told me she sent her trans kid to college in Canada to keep them safe. People shouldn't have to do that. I don't know what my trans family member's plan is if Maine is suddenly not safe.
People don't understand how dire things are for trans rights in this country. We're all trying to figure out if it's possible to leave the country or how to source HRT outside a doctors' prescription or what kind of legal risks we might face down the line if we do the second thing.
like, if i vote for a reprieve from fascism that saves all the cishets and cuts me off from HRT and public life, i shant be voting for anything else (will be too dead from no hormones in my body)
