Lemme add Michigan to this. Maximum. Chaos.
I don't like Auburn or Texas, I'm just in it for maximum chaos.

I would absolutely get my teeth fixed. I hate them and am very self-conscious of them. I once liked a guy friend who very blatantly said, to my face, he wouldn't date a girl w/crooked teeth, and it was really devastating.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?

Wish we'd gotten the 9 OTs, but a good game nonetheless. Hoping for Auburn and Texas to spoil Bama and Texas A&M.

Let's go 9 OTs! #CleanOldfashionedHate

Every year, I think if I just prep a little earlier and spread the cooking out over multiple days, I'll be less exhausted after Thanksgiving. And, every year, it's the socializing that *actually* exhausts me.

That time, ~400 years ago, when Jesuits dragged a new world turkey nearly 2,000 kilometers from Goa to northern India.

Fun, but also reflective of premodern India's integration in global networks of trade and travel.

This one is from was late '80s or very early '90s. My mom cut my hair in a slightly longer Dutch boy haircut than she did my brothers.

Philip IV and Edward I have entered the chat. 😂
you're telling me a right-wing catholic convert is just a protestant in disguise? shocked
In newly leaked audio, Peter Thiel admits he urged JD Vance to ignore Pope Leo XIV on moral questions — including the ethical development of AI.

He goes even further, branding Leo “the woke American pope” and suggesting he’s a tool of the Antichrist.

More seasons of "My Lady Jane".
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Why did we stop throwing rotten fruit and veggies at despots?
Cabbage is affordable, delicious, and astoundingly versatile, @giladedelman.bsky.social writes. The underrated crucifer “is fit for a king”:

I had to do this with my mom because she has Alzheimer's and had started wandering. Stressed me out so much! I hated doing it, but she's the only parent I have left, y'all! Now she has to wear an ankle monitor in the nursing home. 😩

It's infuriating on a daily basis that my 10yo has regular lockdown drills, and we could have done something to prevent that from being a reality after Columbine happened when I was a sophomore in HS 26 years ago. This country hates children.

Yeah, I'd agree. Most "big" bi-weekly grocery shopping trips last year ran me ~$150. Now it's almost $300 for big shops, and I've cut way back to try to be in the $250 range.
