Something I really hated as a kid was when a really old person would ask your name, then they'd sing a song or mention a famous person with the same name. Do they still do this? It was sort of like an early version of putting a song on your MySpace

3. I remember trying to spell my own name, but I couldn't get the 4 letters in the correct order, and I attempted it more than 4 times 😵‍💫 I kept showing my mum and she was like *heavy sigh* "not quite" 😀

Bryann is a lovely way to spell your name. You'd think people would take more notice because it's not the norm, but it's like they can only process factory issued names.

Like, when should you instruct someone on how you spell your name? Should you bother in a coffee shop, or are you being pedantic?

Those little shits usually write "uhlora" on my cup anyway, so I don't bother.

A baffling thing about being a Lora and not a "Laura" is that I'll see doctors come out to call my name, start to say Lorna, look down at their clipboard to double check, and then say Lorna again, and it happens ALL THE TIME.

I failed my driving test!

Stalled as I was pulling out to go round a roundabout.

Considered opening the door and rolling out at one point.

Also, apparently, it's not "saucy" for a room full of learners to put their car keys and licenses on a small table in the middle of the room
