Again I say: how fucking interesting that remote work technology is bad and not worth adopting despite all research pointing to productivity gains, but genAI which offers NOTHING is so important to adopt and force on people who have no use for it despite all the horrible things genAI does

I just remembered that records from Trump's first term become subject to FOIA on Jan. 20, 2026 through the National Archives. It'll be really interesting to see if Trump tries to stop that.

Marco Rubio is currently the acting Archivist of the United States, a title he's held since February.

He needs to be removed from office before he kills us all by starting a nuclear war because he isn't getting enough attention.

This is the joke that had me falling out of my chair at 16:

Nigel plays a beautiful piece on a piano. It's stunning. We had no idea until this point that this weirdo is a ✨musician.✨ It's in Dm, which he says is "the saddest of all keys."

Then Marty asks him the name of the piece.

When you’re a white man, another white man will lament to you about how unfair it is they “can’t” hire you and you actually believe them, you absolute rubes.

The other problem is that someone born in 1974 is not a millennial by any stretch of the imagination.
One problem with this take is the number of high profile white millennial men in the media...

One of the biggest moments of my career:
USCIS canceled my client’s naturalization oath ceremony. We filed a lawsuit, went to trial, and the judge swore him in right there in the courtroom!

CNN has suddenly discovered Tennessee's Patriot Front compound that was a subject of an extensive NewsChannel 5 investigation back in March. Here is my report: 1/ www.newschannel5.com/news/newscha...
'This isn't your granddad's KKK.' Inside the hate group expanding its presence in Tennessee
They are the largest hate group in America, wrapping themselves in the red-white-and-blue of the flag, marching into the middle of American cities and claiming to be patriots.

It's oddly comforting to see a man crash out because another man said no. But it's still fucking weird that it happens.

Wow, this woman is deeply stupid.
A million Muslims live in New York City. We belong here, as does every other New Yorker.

This is vile Islamophobia from the Councilwoman and it has no place in our city.

Rob and Michele Reiner devoted their lives to art, justice, and decency. Trump’s deranged, callous response to their passing is a disgrace, but sadly on brand. We honor their legacy. He reveals his own.

As it turns out, he’s lived through some wild things, and I’m glad I got to help him turn it into something for other people to read.

The idea that men who are violent with their female partners “can’t control their emotions” is weaponized incompetence in one of its more deadly forms, and it’s often men ostensibly on the side of the victim who weaponize it.

Rob Reiner was a beautiful human being.
When Rob Reiner was on his all-time epic run at the start of his career, he had an opportunity to read a script that was looking for a production partner, and he lost his mind for it. He decided Castle Rock had to have it, no matter what.

Rather than just straight-up look for answers I don't know, I go to the source when I can. Reading Ebert's review yesterday had me thinking of Reiner well before I heard the news.

when a poor person uses food stamps for a steak or homeless person spends $5 on a beer, it’s seen as proof that all poor people are so bad with money that they shouldn’t be given any, ever, for any reason. $77 billion out the window, and zuck’s legacy as a safe government contract bet is secure.
Mark Zuckerberg’s gamble on the "Metaverse" has lost his company more than $77 billion.
