Of course it does. The paper is indeed very nice. No need to invoke LLPS though. It is the explanation that is pure fantasy. And Angus Lamond, Ted Salmon and others had already shown liquid-like and dynamic behavior

Interesting paper, although if I'm going to be nit-picky--SF3B1 does not have catalytic activity (it is a RNA binding protein/protein scaffold). In addition, potential non-splicing roles for SF3B1 have been found elsewhere, e.g.,in histone pre-mRNA maturation
