Still time to donate here! There are a range of lovely kids’ books, some really big toys, and individual packets of crayons — if you’ve even got a spare fiver you could donate multiple items.
Anyone looking for a nice Christmas donation to make, the Kevin Jenkins Newham Toy Appeal is now in its 46th year and is still trying to collect enough toys for children in Newham this Christmas. There’s an amazon wish list here (or search justgiving for the appeal to give cash):

On carol service duty this afternoon and trying to get some reading in for the MA dissertation now. This is important work and I wish I'd had more time for it earlier.

I'm on my way to a Chanukah event. It should be a celebration but instead our community is once again mourning.

I will be thinking of everyone in Australia and those around the world in the Jewish Community who know this fear and loss.

We stand with you.

Got the update for where my last blood donation went this week - in contrast to my last, it headed to the south coast and Worthing Hospital!

Do consider if you could #GiveBlood and give someone a present this Christmas that may literally make a world of difference.

I am afraid to inform you that the 'what is a Christmas movie?' discourse has hit the household. #puer posits it has to contain Santa. T'other half is proposing a wuxia-style film about the Council of Nicaea so we can have a wire-fighting St. Nicholas.

Christ is always in Christmas and He doesn’t need the “help” of politicians who want to divide and frighten is for their own ends. Everyone is welcome this Christmas.
Jesus Christ is always at the centre of Christmas. And everyone's invited to experience it with us.

Come and celebrate Christmas at a church near you.

The house move continues to be A Lot, but tonight, I snuggled up with my daughter for an hour to watch Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur episodes together, and I'm feeling so much better about everything now. ❤️
