I have to check this with my Hungarian students today!!
Five more phrases for when annoyed with someone:

5. You’re filling up my bag (Brazilian Portuguese)
4. You’re turning me into the big goat (Mexican Spanish)
3. You’re making my bees rise (French)
2. You’re breaking my chestnuts (Italian)

An English phrase for when someone is getting on your nerves is “you’re driving me up the wall.” A German equivalent is auf die Palme bringen, which essentially means “you’re driving me up the palm tree.”

Just helped a friend at her 8-year-old's birthday party. 21 kids. Bowling. I paid it forward from when another friend helped us with M's (unexpectedly feral) 6th birthday party. It was fun but boy was it loud...

I think this is the first time this has happened since A was diagnosed with #T1D. Two months with the Omnipod and we are very, very pleased with it.

New in PN: A band-aid on a festering hand wound

"The Epstein files and illegal boat strikes aren’t the only coverups taking place right now in the White House. There’s also something clearly wrong with the president’s health that the administration is trying to conceal from the public."
A band-aid on a festering hand wound
Something's up with Trump's health and we should really find out what it is.

FIFA gives Trump a peace prize in a departure from its traditional focus on sport
FIFA gives its new peace prize to President Donald Trump. It’s an unusual break from tradition for the sport-focused soccer organization, whose president has become a close ally of Trump.

I still get emails occasionally from our old bank in Australia. To unsubscribe I have to log in to my account, which I am no longer able to do. Anyway, the subject line today was "scheduled outage."

I read it as "scheduled outrage."

Hey, #EduSky... Does your system expect/allow ranking of students? Either in their reports (like, mark 78%, rank 11/30) or when returning tests and assignments? If so, is it ever made public? (Like "congratulations X, Y and Z, you all got an A?")
