The EU is talking about doing this now. Given that kids here see school uniforms as an outrageous imposition on their freedom of expression, and cigarette advertising hasn't been banned because people have a right to smoke and companies have a right to advertise their products, I doubt it will fly.

Why the heck is this on the Whitehouse website when they're no longer giving information about, say, job numbers, health data etc? This government is not fit for purpose.

A1: it's heinous. He had never thought of being king until the witches put it out there, because he knew the natural order of things would be for Duncan's sons to inherit (not that I approve of hereditary monarchy but that's beside the point). To murder a guest while he was asleep? Wrong.

My tenth graders are so stressed at the moment because they had their chemistry and L1 tests this week, so I had them make visual chapter summaries of Animal Farm. They worked so beautifully together and produced some fantastic posters. They were a lot more relaxed when they walked out!

My parents had their fridge for decades - maybe 35 years? Similar timeframe for the washing machine. They were still functioning but the government started a voucher scheme to swap out old, less energy efficient appliances for new ones. Both new appliances only lasted about five years.

Our allegedly smart washing machine is so stupid. There are no actual buttons or dials, just a touch screen, and if it decides to malfunction (which it does alarmingly regularly for a machine that is barely past its warranty period) we have to unplug it, wait, and plug it back in. I hate it.
