Three out of five men in this shot have been accused of sexual misconduct, harassment or abusive behaviour towards women. A fourth signed into law a near-total abortion ban in his state as governor.

This is what purchasing HP merch does, what you are paying for. JKR is using her considerable wealth to fund bigotry and target a vulnerable population. She's no better than the reprehensible assholes leading the US govt. right now.
i hope every single person who still buys harry potter merch or engages with that franchise is happy that they're literally making girl guides cry

girl guides uk have been forced very much against their will to exclude trans girls. full statement is here: www.girlguiding.org.uk/information-...

Henry Ford was a terrible human being, but at least he understood that the economy would be unworkable and unsustainable unless the workers who made Model T's were paid enough to buy Model T's.
If you want people to spend more, pay them more.

Am salty that I have to justify my desire to go to the Library Association Conference with an online form that asks for my RESUMÉ and then am obliged to make a presentation after about what I learned that benefits the system.
It's a goddamn library conference. Why do I have to jump through hoops?

Let's be clear: if you are stealing from authors you are a shitty human. There are myriad ways to read a book including free trials on platforms and MY FAVORITE, getting a library card. We have eBooks. Library cards are free. You can get one online and use it in minutes.
No, there is no excuse.
I posted a buy link here to "A Magical Inheritance" a few days ago, and 24 of you immediately went to Anna's Archives and fucking stole it from me.

Yes, stole it.

I do not get paid for your download there because YOU ARE STEALING FROM ME.
