Aria Moreno volunteered to undergo an ultrasound as part of the day’s lesson on the gastrointestinal system at Hofstra University’s campus in Long Island.

It probably saved her half a kidney.
A med student volunteered for a class demo. It saved her kidney.
A 22-year-old medical student was shocked to learn during an in-class ultrasound demonstration that there was a large kidney stone damaging her organ.

Forget his excuses. Russia’s autocrat doesn’t worry about NATO. What terrifies him is the prospect of a flourishing Ukrainian democracy.

I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

Caving now will teach Trump and Republicans that they can win any fight simply by threatening to cause terrible harm to regular people. no possible way that could have future adverse consequences

One of the talking points I keep seeing from Democrats is that part of the deal is that it will "ensure federal workers receive back pay" but that's the existing law!

That's not something you've won in negotiations. That's just the letter of the law. You don't get to claim that as a win.

My perhaps controversial assessment is that when you share the propaganda of your enemies to call it out or to mock it… you’re still spreading their propaganda and maybe doing exactly what they hope you’ll do.
