Don’t worry. I won’t hurt you. I only want you to have some fun. ✨
It’s wild how quick white folks on the left are to believe the worst about Hakeem Jeffries. And when stuff is proven not to be true or not as bad as they think, they just move on to next possible bad thing to believe about him. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I maintain that it’s not the Democrats who are the real issue. It’s the majority of white voters who continue to vote for white supremacy and hold back progress again and again. That’s the problem that needs to be solved to stop this cycle.
I’ll put it this way: I have significantly more optimism that we can beat this particular set of fascists than I do that Dems will do what is necessary not to hand the country right back over to the next batch four year later
No value, no villain, no vision. Sounds like the tagline for the earnings call of a collapsing appliance retailer

This is the thing, right here. It is a collective will problem, forever and always, not just a “we have elected weaklings to represent us.” If it were the latter then presumably we’d see some deviations from that mean from time to time.
The thing is that Doing What Must Be Done is genuinely really hard and requires extraordinary political will! Biden tried to at least make a stab at it, but fell way short.

There's SO much inertia in favor of "ignore it and hope it goes away"

At the moment, it’s fans of Ashley, the winner of the most recent season of Big Brother. But people who watch that show have been hassling me for years simply because they disagree with me. And my opinions are not that crazy or rudely expressed. 🥴🤦🏾‍♀️

Imagine being so far gone into Trumpism/Republicanism that you would say this to someone who was shot in the head in an act of political violence.

I think it was overall better for Mamdani to meet with Trump than not (Mamdani came out looking like an responsible adult and Trump came out looking like a confused old idiot) but yeah, it was a bit silly to expect his visit would win out over Miller whispering in Trump’s xenophobic ear.

Once you accept the framing that there are Good Groups and Bad Groups and the latter must be purged from society and the former must have special privileges without oversight, it matters very little what you *call* these groups; the gates of a bottomless atrocity machine have been thrown wide open.

I’m so tired of being berated, called names, and whatnot for having an opinion about a reality show. Enough already.

Well...didn't expect to be watching a highly erotic, surprisingly heartfelt, very explicitly sensual drama about two hockey players who develop a romance over their careers on this Friday after Thanksgiving. #HeatedRivalry. Starts out a little corny, but dear readers...the guys have chemistry 🥵❤️

All right. Time to start Heated Rivalry. Let’s see what that’s all about.

I appreciate it when reality TV players (for any show, not just BB) tell their fans that there’s no need to go into battle on their behalf. That doesn’t happen often enough. And fans may pick up their swords anyway because players can’t control what people do. But at least it’s been said. #bb27

This country would be a much better place if a few more million folks had just voted for Kamala Harris. And whatever nonsense excuse y’all throw out for not doing that (“she stood next to Liz Cheney for a half hour!”) is bullshit. American voters had a responsibility and they failed.

Now only did White House pool reporters not stick up for their colleague who Trump repeatedly called “stupid” but you can hear them thanking Trump a few minutes later after he ended the Q&A. Sad stuff.
