whenever people ask me about AI i just stare into the middle distance and say “all of this has happened before and all of this will happen again”
At this school camping trip, parents keep asking me what I think about AI, and look shocked when I tell them it’s fucked. Mid-level people are cashing out stock and retiring from companies that have seen massive AI-driven growth. Gemini and Copilot range from useless to “someone’s gonna get sued”.

I am begging my Bluesky friends not to respond to trolls, because the platform's setup means that every time you do, that troll's inciting, offensive statement ends up on the timelines of all your friends and taints everybody's day! I really want to see YOUR thoughts, not theirs.
