Additionally, hippos - despite being massive - have almost no fat on them. All of that impressive bulk is muscle.

2% body fat. Compare that to Elephants, which are around 8-10%, or rhinos, which are 10-20%.

The average human is around 20-40%, for reference.

They're *all* muscle.

Right. I need a person to help develop a logo for The Duelling Cages (me and my bro’s pod. It’s fun!).

Any recommendations for people #Nerdling adjacent who do art commissions?

When Labour got in, I thought my regularly having to evaluate if I could balance my job and my conscience would stop.

It’s got worse.

Every now and again I get people RTd into my feed going on about Labours achievements. Where are they today, as the Labour Home Secretary embraces xenophobia and gets support from Tommy Robinson and Carl Benjamin?

In the UK Millennials got Harry Potter and depression

Gen Z got the ability to dance with no social anxiety

Anyway, this is the England team after beating New Zealand

Blatant breaches of employment law by Rockstar if this is right. They need to be given a kicking!
This wasn’t about leaking GTA VI.

It was:
Rockstar illegally firing union members to stop the studio from unionizing.

it directly contradicts Rockstar’s PR narrative and confirms almost everything that people suspected was going on.

This is really good, making clear one of the more complex, and possibly the most important, period in the history of these isles
Good morning! If you’re looking for something to listen to on your morning commute, may I humbly suggest Uprising: The Civil Wars…

I saw John Proctor with the devil!
Under new head of Paramount David Ellison, the studio has drawn up a list of actors who opposed the Gaza genocide and will not allow them to appear in its films and TV shows.

Does this sound familiar?

Also, "Ellison is reportedly aiming to take over Warner Bros. next."
Paramount Has Blacklist for Stars Deemed “Overtly Antisemitic” — World of Reel
It sure looks like the likes of Javier Bardem, Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, and Mark Ruffalo won’t be making movies for Paramount in the foreseeable future.

Seen on the way in to work today, one of the best company names ever - Pale Horse Pest Control.

Love a biblical allusion

November.

I'm begging groups across the UK organising memorial events, please just use the plethora of IWM photos or actual original pieces from the Great war. Using Gen AI images and designs looks amazingly crass, enforces weird stereotypes and is just plain wrong.

Love that WAaP keeps getting randomly mentioned on WTYP. Niche (maybe two other people will understand this) but makes me real happy 😀

I’ve been working on a few things to finish off the Alpha Legion collection - some Ashen Circle (beautiful minis!) a Moritat, some sniper recons, and a lovely Rhino ready to rock and roll!

Just big daddy Alpha to go, and he’s almost there…

Special edition of Tigana? Allow me to say this is one of the best books I’ve read and you should absolutely read it
There was a time, not all that long ago, when I really liked Tony Geer, who owns and runs Conversation Tree Press. That was then, now is his having sent me nearly a thousand sheets of his (drop-dead gorgeous) forthcoming special edition of TIGANA to sign. I’ll need lots of good jazz. And pens.
