Great reporting from @thetyee.ca on my local library closing down DEI working groups. I'm really shocked and saddened, I've been really impressed by the inclusively initiatives I've seen at the Burnaby Public Library since I moved here in 2022.

I have the most painful cramps possibly of my entire adult life. The ovulation that hurt so bad I was posting about it a week later is now but a distant memory as I whimper from pain in a hot bath, maxed out on ibuprofen

Found out today that when making arguments at the Supreme Court of Canada lawyers need to refer to one another as "my friend" - unironically love this and the kindergarten vibe it brings to the proceedings.
