Dear Parents: I know when your kid is using ChatGPT as a crutch. I use Socratic Method to make sure your kid knows what they're doing, and it's extremely obvious when they don't.

Someone really should make the Friday after Thanksgiving a federal holiday.
November 28, 2025 at 1:03 PM
Reminder that tomorrow is not a federal holiday, that tens of millions still will be going in, and that maybe Congress should make Thanksgiving a three day holiday like the O.G. holiday.

After a speeding semitruck killed his son, Gary Wilburn and his wife spent decades advocating for mandated speed limiters in trucks.

DOT proposed a rule to do just that.

Then Trump appointees stepped in, killing the proposed regulation.

I am anxious about meeting my baby.

You never know if the friend you keep or the person you date will be forever.

But your kid? They will always be your kid.

I want to make a good impression 😅

Every once in a while, I remember the autumn of 2022 when I was dying and no one knew why. We had just moved to the DC area with no friends or family. It was just the two of us. And I was so sick. I was bleeding. My arm and hands failed me, and the neurologist didn't know why. I had pneumonia.
