I have fat fingers and no desire check what damages auto-correct has done to my posts.
If your CEO is commuting via private jet daily between cities, and you're living on tips while working in an unsafe and busy cafe during miserable hours, then it's past time to strike.

I 100% believe that. It checks out. Dude is not doing well at all

I actually don't think he knows. He seems to think it was for the dementia or stroke, but it was an abdominal. If they are doing an abdominal MRI for stroke stuff, he is fucked.

And all of them are dudes

I am never going to understand book snobs.

Unless it's an actively harmful* nonfiction book, then it just isn't worth it.

*books that tell you to do drugs when you are pregnant or how to cook your grandmother in starvation times

I think there should be minimum qualifications for Cabinet positions. I think you need to have at least ten years classroom teaching experience to be Secretary of Education.

If you want to feel angry (in a kind of cathartic way) then Cyberpunk 2077 is really good after they fixed the bugs. Like, I am a nostalgic loyalist to 90s games, but Cyberpunk is so good that it shoved its way into my top 5 favorite videogames. The world building, the powerful acting...

Classifying #Signalis as CyberPunk is like grouping sci-fi and fantasy together (like so many libraries do). I love sci-fi. I love fantasy. I love them for different reasons. They are not the same. #Signalis is not cyberpunk!

NYT is a rag. Why is this drivel on my feed?

The crash already happened, but when the AI bubble pops, it will be worse. I think because it's such a regional crash, it's quieter. But you're right. People are going to be extremely hungry soon. Hunger (real hunger) doesn't care about the flavor of the politics of the food.

Campbell's is $5-8 a can here. Not a typo. No can is less than five bucks in my area. Ain't nobody paying for soup here unless it's homemade with homegrown vegetables.

But I love paying 15% more on shit that I don't want!

Good God he is fading fast. He can't sit up in a chair. His hair is falling out in clumps. The halves of his face cannot agree on anything. He talks like a rude toddler, name calling and rambling.

This is so weird to me. If you have bird flu or COVID-19, you're inherently no longer healthy, right? Like, are they adjusting the qualifier here?

Wait, how did you do this? I thought the only way to be unredeemable with Astarion was to force him to do stuff with the potion lady without his consent

Eh, I bet you feel bad when you accidentally step on a doggy's paw.

I'm sorry it sucks to say, "Hey, I think we've grown apart. I will send you a card though." Or "I really just don't like how you talk about _." But your ex/friends need to hear that.

I hate sounding like a boomer, but the younger generations have *got to* stop just ghosting long term relationships. It is toxic as fuck. These people are so scared of conflict and one tough hour of talk that they would rather absolutely devastate someone that they supposedly loved/cared about.

A friend had this happen last year and he has been in weekly therapy for it ever since. He sent people $300 floral arrangements, handwritten letters, everything just begging to know what happened, just a few words. People he'd know for YEARS.

This happened to me. I have just a shred of a hint of what happened; someone started telling everyone I had BPD because her mom had it and she had it. There was an unfortunate schism. I kept two mutuals and appreciated them so hard.

I am in a buy-nothing group on Facebook, and the amount of free stuff is just jaw-dropping. Entire cookware sets, jewelry, kid costumes, cribs, computers, you name it.
