It’s a top tier compliment to me. I take being a safe space for people I care about seriously.
Once emotional safety became a bare minimum for me, it threw me right into solitude. Most people aren’t emotionally safe. Most people are in survival mode and unfortunately, they don’t have the capacity to be a safe space for anyone because they’re not a true safe space for themselves.
