OF COURSE Donald Trump has destroyed the people's point of access to the White House. He makes me SICK.
So Trump bulldozed a third of the White House complex. And they’re trying to keep the photos off limits.

I agree with this. There are a lot of people out there who think both parties are the same and if Democrats put a show of pushing out people with Nazi tattoos and shitty text messages and abused employees then all of a sudden you're making inroads.
Putting a Democrat with a Nazi tattoo in the Senate normalizes Naziism in our federal politics for a long ass time.

All these recent stories about secret Nazi group chats? Anytime that happens going forward will be met with "But Platner."

It's not a purity test. Think through the consequences.

This demolition is a statement of *ownership*
the president has destroyed the east wing of the white house without so much as a word of input from anyone else to build a royal ballroom paid for with bribes
NEW: After The Washington Post reported Monday on the demolition of the "East Wing facade," a new picture obtained by Law Dork that was taken on Tuesday shows that a substantial portion of the entirety of the East Wing has been demolished.
Will McDonald IV is a good player, IMO. I'd like to see him on the Eagles.
Schultz: Teams keeping an eye on Jets ahead of trade deadline. Names include:

Breece Hall
LB Quincy Williams
EDGE Jermaine Johnson
EDGE Will McDonald IV
CB Michael Carter
Allen Lazard

I mean, this is just flat out corruption. It’s blatantly obvious. He’s stealing our tax dollars.
President Trump is demanding that the Justice Department pay him about $230 million in compensation for the federal investigations into him.

Whether he gets paid will ultimately be up to DOJ's second-in-command, who was recently his personal lawyer.

A note for sports: Bluesky’s engagement rate was x10 higher than X’s across a sampling of identical posts made on both platforms by @rapsheet.bsky.social (sharing with permission)

Fwiw we see a similar trend across all communities, not just sports. Real people, real conversations.

This is from Doug Martin’s agent Brian Murphy on behalf of his family. It says he battled mental health challenges that “profoundly impacted his personal and professional life.” It also says his parents were trying to get him medical assistance.
And wrote a whole ass novela because an airline wouldn't let his lice-infested kids fly on a plane
There isn't one! Congressional analysis revealed that the NSA’s dragnet collection of data hasn't been used to stop a single terrorist attack, and that the most effective sources of information are community members. Surveillance and safety have no correlation, despite how it's sold.
Also, what the hell happened to the QB run game? Who is responsible for effectively killing it? If Hurts is asking to move away from that, I hate that he's internalized some of the "running QB" criticism. If the coaches decided it, it's malpractice not to effectively utilize the talent you have.
Also, at this point, Patullo should be responsive to what's happening and adjust his approach. They can't run like they did last year. Dickerson and Jurgens are banged up. Steen isn't Becton. Your OL isn't going to steamroll anyone right now.
STILL, they're pass blocking well! Throw the damn ball.
It's an abomination that every game doesn't look like last week's game. The Eagles should be FEEDING AJ Brown and Devonta Smith every. single. week. Both of them should be pushing for 90+ catches every year. They should be the modern Fitz & Boldin, Harrison & Wayne, and Holt & Bruce. FEED THEM.
No longer the case. Now, the focus is on specialization, and students can get through college without even having to take even one literature class. That’s not to say the arts would fix anything, but as of now, students don’t even get the chance to critically examine their place in the world.
His arm is middling, at best, he doesn't have a snappy/explosive/flexible release, isn't typically one to make off-platform plays or throw well on the move. For most of his career, he's struggled with blitzes & working the short/intermediate areas, esp. over the middle. On paper, he's not exciting.
Look at what his critics say, that stuff isn't invented. He's certainly greater than the sum of his parts, and it's hard to account for his disposition and approach, but he lacks the traits teams tend to look for @ QB. Not long ago, the Eagles themselves were looking at Russ, Z. Wilson, and Pickett…
It must vary by program because I absolutely took sociology, as well as multiple other aligned education courses.
I'd argue for a greater education in the arts, really for all professions, so that they can develop more cohesive and intentional interpretation methods, language, ethics, and philosophies.
The myth and pursuit of “objectivity” is destroying journalism.
The standards for training and entry into the field of journalism are entirely too low, and the corporatization of news has further compounded the effects. Misrepresentation, editorialization, and incompleteness are rampant, and too many either lack the spine or capacity to correct it.
A few people want to fire Sirianni, and I don't think he's very good, but people are going to be shocked at how disinterested coaches are in the job. It's not just bloggers and film analysts who dislike Hurts…

RFK is undoing human subjects protections so he can conduct placebo trials of vaccines. That means infecting people knowingly. I wonder who will “volunteer” for these trials? If history is any guide, a lot of incarcerated and other powerless people.
Dismantling the Institutional Review Board (IRB), that oversees all human subjects research, is bad. Really bad.
The entire HR department at the CDC is gone. Everyone at the IRB, which makes sure studies are conducted ethically and rigorously, and the ethics office, which oversee conflicts of interest for CDC leaders and advisory committee members, were also let go.

The inflatable costume thing with the protesters is really good because it renders the body armor/CoD weaponry aesthetic of the ICE Nazis even more ridiculous than it already was. Suiting up like Rambo to face down a dancing frog. No coming back from that
